I've had this story on my mind for awhile now, and I finally posted the first "chapter". It's titled "Leaving Us', and is about a high school senior named Laren being kidnapped. I really wanted to explore some of my own fears with this and try to create specific moods, but I'm not entirely sure if I succeeded. Any feedback would be appreciated! (TW: If you don't like kidnapping scenarios or a smidge of mental abuse, please don't read. It's very little on the abuse part, and I wouldn't really call it that but I don't want someone to go in without a mild warning -- )

I have images of what they look like already, and have the next chapter planned out. I'm pretty willing to suggestions of what may happen later on, or if anyone wanted to name a character I wouldn't mind x)
(Note that this school is made up and I'm kinda rolling with whatever rules pop up, so it's a good public school and the only around for awhile with dorms for those who live farther away.)

Characters so far: *may contain spoilers*
Laren Olivia- A tall, average girl with medium long brown hair and warm, chocolate brown eyes. She is an honors student and graduates in a month, but is often very naive and second guesses herself a lot. She lives with her cousin, Pima Jones who is a junior in a dorm at their school.

Pima Jones- Laren's younger cousin, much more energetic and has a cat allergy. She has short auburn hair (with purple underneath) and often has to beg Laren to go out for social events. She is an honors student as well, but not nearly as good as her roommate. She balances out her cousin and helps her with her anxiety.

Jevale ????- A shorter, well learned person who kidnaps Laren. They have short, dark brown bobbed hair and soft olive skin. Their eyes are a sharp green, and have a hoop through the cartilage on their ear. They claim to be in love with Laren, and take her to an undisclosed location.

Miss Leah- Laren's calculus teacher who helps her out a lot and often tries to call home to alert her parents of her situation. She is the first to know of Laren's disappearance other than Pima, and questions the other seniors of the school. 

Annies' Cashier- A medium statured, raven-haired girl who snaps her gum. She is easily annoyed it seems and very watchful. She seems to know what happened to Laren, but won't say what.
